GETTING THERE Nordic Bakery at 14 Golden Square, London. Closest tube station is Piccadilly Circus. THE WALK You start your Walk at the Nordic Bakery at 14 Golden Square, it's a beautiful Scandinavian-style café offering simple and savoury Nordic bakery treats. You then head to 18 Great Marlborogh Street to Le Pain Quotidien, finely crafted delectable pastries taste the magic of a buttery, flaky croissant and the dark, chocolately fudgy brownie. Take a short stroll to the Pastry Pilgrim at 8 D'Arblay Street, they sell sweet and savory food from sausage rolls to pasties and cupcakes, and all yum! Next on the list is The Hummingbird Bakery at 155a Wardour Street, offers a full range of American-style baked treats and desserts including cupcakes, layer cakes, brownies, pies, cheesecakes, muffins and much more... Almost next door is Gails at 128 Wardour Street, fantastic bread, to pastries and plenty of cakes and sweets, they also have very tasty sandwiches aswell. A quick hop, skip and a jump to 135 Wardour Street to Princi a wonderful italian bakery, with cakes and pastries beckoning you from the counter. At 49 Old Compton Street is Paul, the perfection of pastries, If you haven't tasted the creations from PAUL, now is the time. next is Patisserie Valerie at 44 Old Compton Street, this Patisserie is the home of fine cakes and gateauxs. The Maison Bertaux is located at 28 Greek Street, old of the oldest Bakeries in Soho it's famous for Cream cakes and french fancies. A quick detour to 99 Shaftesbury Avenue to Konditor & Cook, they specialise in Cakes, with delious sounding names from Whiskey Orange Bomb to the Curly Whirly Superstar. Next place you'll visit is the Wonderful Patisserie at 44 Gerrard Street, this is a Chinese Bakery and has the best buns and amazing cakes with fantastic colours. Last but not least Candy Cakes, 36 Monmouth Street, like the name suggests all there cakes a colourful and playful and not forgetting amazing!
